Type I equine collagen membrane with smooth surfaces and a thickness of about 0,2 mm. membranes are used to cover bone grafts in Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) procedures to protect the bone regeneration site from infiltration of epithelial or fibrous tissue. They are also indicated for the protection of postextractive socket to reduce bone resorption and the Schneider Membrane in case of small ruptures or in maxillary sinus elevations.
